Byron & Rosetta Eddy founded Mind Body Works over 30 years ago and since then have held their practice in the lovely Woodbury, CT area. Over the years, Mind Body Works has become locally renowned, offering cutting-edge techniques and the unique ability to adapt and respond to individuals’ needs with a variety of massage/movement methods.
Rosetta is a Connecticut-licensed, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist since 1982 and member of the AMTA. She is a holistic health practitioner with a BS in Nutrition from UConn, a BS in Respiratory Therapy from Quinnipiac College, and has an MA in Holistic Health from JFK University. Rosetta became certifited in the Trager Approach in 1990. She studied Acupressure Massage and Tai Chi with Sifu Tsuei Wei in Oakland, CA, and Master T.K. Shin in CT. She has been a student of Yoga for over 25 years.
Connecticut-licensed massage therapist and member of the AMTA, Byron graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1984. He is also a graduate of the Core Integration Program at the Body/Mind Institue in Watertown, MA. Byron has played the digeridoo (Aboriginal musical instrument) for over 10 years and sometimes incorporates it into his practice. He holds a fourth degree black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido and teaches in Litchfield, CT.
